Horizons of New Mexico

The New Mexico State Use Act, 13-1C-1 NMSA 1978, is an outgrowth of the states continuing efforts to expand opportunities for its citizens with disabilities. The Act opens state service contracts, including contracts to provide service to the state as business owners and entrepreneurs, to persons with disabilities without having to competitively bid for the contract-so long as the services are provided at fair market pricing.

Horizons of New Mexico Contracts

Under the auspices of Horizons of New Mexico Tresco provides support services for 5 Horizons of New Mexico contracts, the largest being Maintenance and Custodial service   for the New Mexico Department of Transportation District 1 Rest Areas and Patrol yards.   Tresco provides service for several New Mexico Department of Health Facilities in Southern New Mexico as well as the New Mexico Department of Game and Fish in Las Cruces.  Through these contracts Tresco is able to employ over 30 individuals with significant disabilities.
