Respite Care

To apply for services, please contact us.

Respite services are time-limited scheduled supports to the individual that provide relief from the ongoing responsibilities of the primary caregiver.  These may include routine health care, meal preparation and eating assistance, self-help skills assistance, and assistance with developing leisure activities.

Respite care is mainly provided in the home.  Occasional outings into the community provide opportunities to encourage the individual to be involved in their neighborhood and the community, choose activities and participate in leisure, play and other recreational activities.
