Celebrating Early Childhood: The Most Critical Learning Years
State of New Mexico’s Early Childhood Education and Care Department hosted an Early Childhood Day in Santa Fe on February 28th. Throughout the day there were activities for infants, toddlers, preschool children, including face art, crafts and storytime with legislators. Exhibitors specializing in programs for families throughout New Mexico were available to meet with and share their impact.
Tresco Children’s Services leadership and team members were in full force giving thanks to our legislators and sharing the state wide impact of our programs between state wide. Our team met with the Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham’s team members, Lieutenant Governor Howie Morales and various legislators throughout the state. We advocated for Early Childhood Education at over 50 offices and provided information about our Day One Home Visiting and TOTS Early Intervention services with a special made artwork of thanks from the children we serve.
Day One Home Visiting and TOTS Early Intervention programs were heard, seen and recognized! Together we can make a positive change for the families we serve; and continue to support children throughout New Mexico to reach their full potential.
