No, services are free due to a grant funding.

Yes, we have staff that are bilingual.

We support you and your child by first conducting a few assessments and an intake which then, tells us what your values and concerns are.  The intake and assessments give us a road map to put together some great family goals that are based off our discussions.  Please refer to the above list for examples of support.

Our visits can be held at home in your and your child’s natural environment or out in the community such as a local park or our local office.

We conduct a variety of screenings that such as a Maternal and Child Checklist that asks health related questions, ASQ and ASQ-SE which tracks child development and social-emotional development, relationship assessment questionnaire, social support questionnaire, parenting reflections questionnaire.

Day One serves all areas of Dona Ana and Sierra.  Including:  Sunland Park, Santa Teresa, Chaparral, Berino, Mesquite, Vado, Las Cruces, White Sands, T or C, Hatch, Arrey, Elephant Butte, White Sands.

No, we do not ask for proof of citizenship.

We do not have a waitlist and can serve up to 201 families (we count families not number of children).

Although we are not Early Intervention, we can and do serve families who have children with special needs.
