What’s Happening at the Warehouse!

The Tresco Distribution Warehouse concept had been in the planning stages for a couple of years. Plans started to come together in June 2021. Building 4 underwent a transformation from a dusty, empty 8,000 square foot building to a space with a freshly applied epoxy flooring, pallet racks, and shelving ready to accommodate in excess of 160-line items.

The Warehouse became operational on January 19, 2022, it received the first product delivery on January 24, 2022 and the first delivery/issue was to Fort Craig Rest Area on January 25, 2022.

Establishing a Distribution Warehouse has allowed Tresco to take advantage of volume discounts from vendors, save on delivery fees, take advantage against product shortages, and has provided additional vendors the opportunity to provide Tresco with alternative products at competitive prices.

Initially, the Warehouse had an inventory valued at $19,768, on its last inventory, conducted on December 30, 2022, inventory value was at $187,185 representing an approximate 6-month supply of products used by our customers. Since the initial delivery, the Warehouse has issued and delivered products totaling over $250,000, with new products being added constantly.

The Warehouse crew, Pete Jimenez, Betty Anaya, and Gilbert Rayos, are always ready to assist customers with equipment and materials to help them accomplish their tasks. Stop by and visit, they’re always happy to greet customers.
