Tresco Empowers Voices at Las Cruces Day in Santa Fe Advocacy Weekend

Tresco proudly participated in Las Cruces Day in Santa Fe, joining community leaders, business representatives, and elected officials for a weekend dedicated to advocacy, collaboration, and progress. This annual event, hosted by the Greater Las Cruces Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors, provides a platform to highlight the needs and priorities of Southern New Mexico, ensuring that our voices are heard at the state level.

Tresco team members: Sumer Nolen, TOTS Community Relations & Child Find Coordinator, Pablo Herrera, Tresco Assistant Director of Business Development, and Stacie Allen, Community Engagement Manager, took this opportunity to engage with state legislators, policymakers, and fellow organizations to discuss critical issues affecting the people we serve and our community as a whole. The Tresco team was pleased to have Tresco Board Members Christi Getz and Robert Selby, who are part of the chamber’s Ambassadors program that assisted with the planning of this advocacy weekend, join in our efforts in sharing the impact of our mission.

Throughout the weekend, Tresco participated in key discussions, networking events, and roundtable meetings that focused on economic growth, healthcare, education, and social services—all areas that directly impact our mission. By working alongside community partners, we continue to strengthen our advocacy efforts and push for policies that enhance accessibility, promote workforce inclusion, and early childhood education services.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to the Greater Las Cruces Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors, local leaders, and all the dedicated participants who made Las Cruces Day in Santa Fe a resounding success. We look forward to continuing these essential conversations and working collaboratively to build a stronger, more inclusive community for all in the Mesila Valley Region. Together, we can make a difference!
