How long is the program?
The program can last up to 90 days; however, a family can also meet their goals in under 90 days.
How often do we meet?
The family outreach specialist will meet with the family once a week for the first month and then, depending on their needs, coordinate to meet twice a month.
Where do we meet?
The Family Outreach Specialists can meet the family in person at the Tresco Office, at the park (anywhere in the community), or there is also an option to meet via video call (Teams, Google, etc)
Can we only apply once to the program?
The program will take a family again after discharge if there is a need; however, if the family requires a higher level of support, Family Outreach Specialists staff will refer them to a community-based program that better fits their needs.
Can we enroll in other programs while enrolled with Tresco FO?
Yes, as long as the family is not enrolled in a similar program, that can be discussed with the Family Outreach Specialists Manager.
Will this affect food stamps, TANF, Medicaid, SSI, and unemployment?
No, Family Outreach Specialists staff does not report enrollment or services without prior permission of the family.
Who can make a referral?
CYFD, community members, providers and self referrals
